Nestled in the tranquil countryside, just a stone’s throw away from the city of Lisburn, I share my life journey with my husband of over four decades. Together, we’ve been blessed with two remarkable daughters and four enchanting grandchildren. My heart finds its greatest fulfilment in spending time with family and friends, relishing weekly date nights with hubby, playing piano and listening to all genres of music, immersing myself in the world of fiction, listening to motivational speakers, and embarking on morning walks through the countryside. Cooking is another passion of mine, and I occasionally indulge in artistic endeavours with a paintbrush and sketchpad. My faith plays a central role in my life and I love spending time with my church family and helping out where I can. 

My professional journey has been diverse, with an initial foray into various management and administrative roles within the public sector. However, I made a conscious choice to transition to the charity sector, aligning my career with organisations that shared my values of equality, non-judgmentalism, compassion, love, integrity, creativity, kindness, empathy, and authenticity. This decision allowed me to make a tangible difference in the lives of others, and it continues to resonate deeply with me.

They say life begins at 40, but I’ve come to realise that it can begin at any age. After serving as the CEO of a remarkable Quaker charity for over 15 years, I embarked on a transformative journey of self-discovery around the time that I celebrated my 60th birthday. I accepted a part-time role with our local Food Bank & Social Supermarket where over the course of the past three years, I have delivered a range of emotional wellbeing workshops and provided one-on-one coaching sessions to clients, igniting a passion for life coaching and mentoring.

Today, I seek to work with people through Marbles Creative Coaching, a platform dedicated to supporting individuals and groups in unlocking their unique potential and purpose through one-on-one coaching and workshops. I am equally committed to helping people embrace the freedom of crafting an end-of-life plan using the BIGS® Method. While these topics may delve into serious matters, I believe that the journey should be infused with moments of joy and levity.
